Ameridan lives AU: sometime after the events of Jaws of Hakkon, the Orlesian court throws a ball to commemorate and honour the last Inquisitor.

Hit me with all the tropes: dancing, formalwear, gossip. It’s up to you how you choose to approach their relationship, but I’d particularly like something more tentative, with respect for Ameridan’s past with Telana.

During Inquisition, Fenris is hunting Tevinter slavers, and Zevran is hunting Antivan Crows. What happens when their paths cross? I’d love to see them as reluctant partners pursuing a shared objective, eventually discovering that they have a lot in common. Bonus points for snarky banter!

ALTERNATIVELY: coffee shop AU. Hear me out - Fenris is severe and reserved, Zevran is flirtatious and makes terrible jokes about cream. Maybe one day they cross paths at a protest and learn that they’ve got more in common than coffee?

I’m fascinated with the implication in Trespasser that Solas is motivated by his grief for Mythal. I’m up for any kind of exploration of the dynamic between the two of them, but I think this pairing is asking for angst. Please keep their characterisation consistent as Flemeth and Solas (rather than their pantheon identities).

I’m in love with the idea of a greyace Cassandra, who adores romance but isn’t particularly into sex. But because all the romance novels she’s read suggest that sex is always the endpoint of romance, she’s resigned herself to the fact that it won’t ever happen for her.

I’d love to see Leliana, who knows a thing or two about the power of storytelling, help her see that there’s more than one way to love someone.

These two dorks are made for an epistolary romance. He goes back to the University, she keeps working for the Inquisition. He writes her unnecessarily long, verbose letters jumping from topic to topic; she replies with reports on where she is and the wonders of the world of Thedas. There are so many options here - mutual pining, more obvious courting, one partner being oblivious - whatever takes your fancy!

Why is Morrigan suddenly an expert on elven history in Inquisition? What was the ‘sanctuary’ she spoke of to the Inquisitor? Answer: Merrill, who fixes her eluvian and goes wandering through the Crossroads, crossing paths with our mysterious witch of the wilds. Something sweet but sad would work well for these two.

After Trespasser, Josie has to deal with the ancient rivalry between the Montilyets and Rivaini pirates. But what if one of those pirate captains was our Admiral Isabela? It’s Romeo and Juliet on the open seas (but please give it a happier ending than Shakespeare).

Note: I’m not asking for a R&amp;J AU, just an adventure with two people from duelling houses who end up falling in love, perhaps against their better judgement. Also lots of pirate tropes, because everything is better with pirates.

For Alistair/Dorian: King Alistair of Ferelden reluctantly goes on a diplomatic mission to Tevinter, to meet the new group of pro-reform magisters led by one Dorian Pavus. He's not expecting him to be quite so...charming.

For Zevran/Dorian: A magister hires the Antivan Crows to take out Dorian. The 'Black Shadow' currently hunting down the Crows (aka Zevran) intervenes. Bonus points if this takes place during a masquerade ball and includes a hilarious damsel in distress Dorian.
